Most of the web applications we build replace something that previously lived in spreadsheets, email threads and paper forms. That shapes how we work: understand the real process first, then fit the software to it — not the other way round.
We build server-rendered applications with interactivity applied where it earns its place. That keeps the application fast, the interface accessible and the maintenance burden low, because there is no second copy of the state in the browser that has to be kept in step with the server.
