This website works without tracking, without analytics tools and without third-party services. That is why there is no consent banner either: there is nothing for you to consent to.

What this website does not do

This is the shortest way to say what matters:

• No cookies. We set none.
• No analytics and no tracking. No Google Analytics, no pixel, no tag manager.
• No requests to servers we do not control. Typefaces, images, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own server only. There are no embedded maps, videos or social media elements through which others could record you.
• No profiling and no automated decision-making.

Server logs

When you request a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data that our server records: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the status code, the amount of data transferred, the referrer and the browser identification.

• Purpose: delivering the page, diagnosing faults and defending against attacks.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in secure and error-free operation.
• Retention: the logs are deleted automatically after at most 14 days.
• Recipients: none. The logs do not leave our server and are not combined with other data.

What is stored on your device

Exactly one entry, and only if you trigger it yourself:

It is written only when you click the appearance toggle, and it remembers your choice for your next visit. It contains no identifier, is never transmitted to us and serves no other purpose. Without that click the storage stays empty. You can delete it at any time through your browser’s site data.

This is not a cookie, and under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 it does not require consent either, because the storage is strictly necessary for the function you asked for. We name it here regardless, because it is the only thing this website leaves on your device.

Contacting us by email or telephone

If you write or call, we process what you send us in order to answer your enquiry.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Retention: for as long as handling the enquiry requires, and beyond that within the statutory retention periods under Austrian commercial law.

The contact form

Through the form on the contact page you send us your name, your email address and your message.

• Purpose: answering your enquiry.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Storage: none. There is no database and no form inbox on the server — what you enter is delivered to our mailbox as an email and nowhere else. How long it is kept there follows from handling the enquiry and from the statutory retention periods.
• Recipients: our email provider, as a processor, for delivery. Beyond that, none.
• A copy to yourself: the form has a checkbox for receiving a copy of your message at the address you entered. It is not pre-ticked. If you tick it, we send exactly one further email to that address, and only once your enquiry has reached us. The copy contains nothing but what you entered yourself. Your address is not stored for this and is not used for anything else; it does not subscribe you to anything.
• Abuse protection: to limit automated bulk submissions we count submissions per IP address in memory for at most one minute. That count is never written to disk and expires by itself; beyond it, your IP address appears only in the server log described above.
• If delivery fails, we log the technical reason — not the content of your message and not your email address.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. An informal message to office@origosoft.at is enough.

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

Changes

If anything changes about what this website stores, sends or loads from elsewhere, this page changes with it — in all three languages, in the same step as the change itself. The date below tells you when that last happened.
